Scientifically proven:
  • Green-lipped mussel extract (Perna canaliculus) has demonstrated a moderate and clinically significant reduction in pain in people with osteoarthritis in clinical studies.¹
  • Menthol activates TRPM8 receptors associated with the sensation of cold and, when applied topically, may reduce the sensation of pain.²
  • Rosemary essential oil has demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity in experimental studies, with effects on inflammatory signaling pathways suggested as one possible mechanism.³
  • 1,8-Cineole (eucalyptol), one of the main components of eucalyptus oil, has shown potential analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects in research.⁴

SUGGESTED USE

Squeeze the required amount of gel in your hand and gently massage the sore spot until the gel is absorbed. Repeat the procedure several times during the day. Be sure to wash your hands after use. Be careful that the gel does not come into contact with the eyes. Do not apply to damaged skin or wounds. Do not wrap the areas where you have applied the PernaVita gel with impermeable foils or bandages. For optimal results in joint pain, we recommend a combination of oral use of PernaVita flex tablets and massage of the sore spot with PernaVita gel.

DO YOU KNOW?

Microencapsulated menthol is solubilized in aqueous solution and does not require additional dissolution in alcohol as is the case with crystallized menthol. Thus, it does not dry out the skin. Menthol binds to neuronal receptors and causes a cooling sensation which helps relieve pain.
